Collecting and using information

Interact is the sole owner of the information collected from this site. We will not sell, rent or share information with third parties in other ways but those mentioned by means of this disclaimer. Interact collects information from our users and from various sources which are indicated on this site.

Subscribing:

The INTERACT site restricts access to the online content. To have access to the contents of this site, the user must fill in a subscription/registration form. During the subscription process, the user will be asked to provide contact data (e.g. name or email address). In the case of the sites where the access to the online contents is conditioned by the process of subscription, the subscription form will contain detailed information about the subscriber, used to identify and complete the account of that subscriber.

E-mail alerts:

If a user wants to subscribe to INTERACT alerts we will ask for contact information such as: name and email address. All alerts offer the possibility to unsubscribe for each mail received. In certain cases, the user is asked for demographic information as well as information of personal interest, which are both optional and used to create a content that is as relevant as possible for the user.

This site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that INTERACT is not responsible for the privacy policy adopted by other sites. We encourage our users to be careful when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements for each and every site that collects personal data. This document applies solely to information collected from this site.

Recommend to a friend:

If the user wants to access our database to inform a friend about our newsletter or site, we will ask for his/her friend's name and email address. INTERACT will automatically send an email message to his friend by which we will invite him/her to visit the site. INTERACT stocks this information with the only purpose of sending this unique email message.

Security:

This website adopts all security measures required to protect our users' personal information. While filling in the personal data on our website, the information will be protected both online and off-line.

If there are order and/or subscription forms to the INTERACT newsletter for which personal data are required (for example, the credit card number), this kind of information will be encoded and protected by means of the best encoding software system - SSL.

All personal information will be processed by means of secure pages, marked with the symbol of a small lock placed at the bottom of Web Netscape Navigator Microsoft and Internet Explorer browser. This is an indication that the page is secure.

We use the SSL encoding system to protect sensitive information online, but our efforts aim at protecting this kind of information offline as well. All information about users, not only that sensitive mentioned above, will not be the object of any other type of activity, besides those which are held at work.

Only the employees whose specific activity implies dealing with personal data (for example the representatives of the payment department or customer care) have access to the identification data of the users. The Servers on which personal information of identification are stocked are set in a secure place.

Special offers

We send all new members a welcoming email to verify the username and password. Senior members will occasionally receive information about products, services, special offers, and a newsletter. When they subscribe, the users have the possibility to select whether they want to receive or not this periodical information.

Announcing the changes:

If the identification data of a user changes, (as the postal code) or if a user wants to give up our services, we will make sure that we correct, update or delete those personal data which have been entrusted to us by the user. This can be done either from the subscription page, or by means of an email sent to the web editor.

If we decide to change our policy, we will show these changes on our first page so that the users should always be informed regarding the collected information, the way we use it and the context, if any, in which we make it public.

If we decide to use the personal information in other ways than those presented at the time of subscription, we will let the users know that by means of an email. The users are free to agree or not with the utilization of the information with other aim. We will use the information in accordance with the policy under which the information has been collected.

Unsubscribing:

The users have the possibility to unsubscribe if they don't want to receive our newsletter/the alert/the briefing any more, by using the Unsubscribe link which is contained in the email or online.

Log files

We use the IP addresses in order to analyze tendencies, administer the site, follow the users' movements, and gather demographical information for internal use. The IP addresses are in no way connected to personal information.
